Windows XP SP3 - WMP 11 - IE 8 - DX 9 - AIO .NET Framework

I've been playing around with slipstreamers and integrators and I finally came up with a version of XP that fully satisfy my needs.
I'm going to customize it further adding the Intel Sata drivers and making it fully unattended, but the base will be the one from this post.

I obviously had to dig in the net to find some amazing packages and tool and thanks to people like RyanVM , jd976 and NonnoFabio (grazie!!) I managed to achieve the best result with the minimum effort.

Tools Needed:

1. Original copy of untouched Windows XP SP3 (I used the original MSDN VL version). Let me spend few words about the junk found on the net: you will find many, many post about copy of xp sp3 including the updates but untouched.
If it is untouched how can it include the updates? Untouched means untouched: no removed components,no added drivers, no integrated serial, etc.....Beware!

2. RyanVM integrator: can be found here. You could also use Nlite (and that's what I will use afterwards to integrate the serial and make it fully unattended) but I have the necessity to remove Windows Desktop Search from the package because I totally hate it and the only way to achieve this is by using the integrator kindly offered by RyanVM

3. .Net Framework All in One x86(incl 3.5SP1) found here

4. Onepiece XP Post-SP3 AIO Update Pack v2.6.0-090715 found here. This package is simply amazing it includes basically everything needed to have an up to date copy of XP.

From the post in the Forum: "This XP post-SP3 All-in-One Update Pack differs from Ryan's One, which is more customizable to your needs, as it includes by default more stuff like IE8, DX updates, .NET 1.1 or WMP11 for an easier integration, along with official and nearly all request-only hotfixes (RyanVM's Update Pack is more selective with request-only hotfixes, which is fine): all in a few MBs."

Ok let's start the integration :
1 Extract the Windows XP .iso file into a temporary folder (WinXpSp3June)
2 Fire up the RVM integrator
3 Select the temporary folder as the location containing the i386 Directory
4 Select the Onepiece XP Post-SP3 AIO Update Pack in the Update Pack field
5 Click Integrate

After the process has been completed according to nonno fabio in his post here is time to add the compatibility package and ,in my case, run the ini file to remove the Desktop Search.

Repeat the same step as above but this time add first the compatibility package in the addon package field and integrate it, and then add the switch to remove Desktop Search and integrate it.

Now is time to add the .net framework: select the update field and since it won't find it automatically you will need to select it manually by typing the name as shown here:

Once more hit integrate.
Create the iso using the integrator (it is self explanatory how to do it) and you are ready to go!!

I installed it in a VM and works flawlessly

$134 Billion in a Suitcase - Update 2

So after more than 1 month nobody can tell us the full story about the 100 billion euro.
The americans are claiming that probably are fakes here, I mean the article is stating that the bonds are fake but then the word "probably" comes up, and nobody is demonstrating the veridicity of the statement.

Should we just forget about it?

What about a big, fuckin' NEVER ?

$134 Billion in a Suitcase - Update 1

Quick update regarding the 100 billion euro story.

No official news can be found on the net, the last update was given by BBC news website on the 22nd of june here.

Apparently the 2 japanese were released because it is not a crime to smuggle bonds, but they might just receive a fine: this exclude the option that the bonds were fake since in that case they were supposed to be arrested for couterfeiting.

So what the FUCK IS HAPPENING ?

Who owns these bonds? Who the hell is behind it? Do we get to know if they were fined? What's the amount of the fine? If they weren't fined: WHY??

$134 Billion in a Suitcase

I hate politics and politicians but especially in my home country we reached a point of no return. We have a fucking clown voted by the dumb majority of italian citizens mesmerized by the television (owned by the clown). Most of the people still think that whatever the news says or the newspaper write is the absolute truth: terms like freedom of speech, internet and free knowledge are unknown to the most.
I came across this news:

http://www.spiegel.de/international/zeitgeist/0,1518,630158,00.html

Basically 2 japanese mules were caught smuggling 100 billion euros in bonds from Italy to Switzerland. According to the italian law (do we still have one?) they could receive a fine up to 40% the amount they were trying to conceal. Now can you imagine, even if it is only a 5/10% what could be done by a decent government with that amount of money? This could partially reset the italian economy ,relaunch the industry and possibly give a hope to the millions of unemployed.

I frantically tried to look for more news in the major italian news website but this wasn't reported by nobody: la Repubblica, La Stampa, Il Giornale, TG1, TG5 turned their back on something that could give some hope to a decadent country.

NOBODY REPORTED THE NEWS
NOBODY IN ITALY (a part from the few using other sources than just a talking box) WAS/IS AWARE OF IT

The media rule the mind of the weaks, this news didn't have to be submitted to the mass.

I then found another link:

http://www.nationalterroralert.com/updates/2009/06/11/2-japanese-carrying-134-billion-in-us-bonds-detained-in-italy/

"According to the report in il Giornale, two unidentified Japanese in their 50s concealed the bonds, including 249 U.S. Treasury bonds each worth $500 million, in a suitcase with a false bottom that was searched by the Italian authorities June 3 when they were in Chiasso, at the border with Switzerland, about 50 kilometers north of Milan"

So according to the above article Il Giornale is reporting the news.
Let's have a look:

Go the link http://www.ilgiornale.it/
And look for "giapponesi" (japanese)

The following page will be displayed:

The second link "Il giallo La valigia dei giapponesi Se ne andavano dall'Italia con ..." is the one relevant to us

Click on it...and watch with disbelief that the page does not exist

What are they trying to hide? What kind of interests are behind this operation? Why mass media are not reporting the news?

Nice speech from this guy in fox news

Also have a look at this link

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601039&sid=a62_boqkurbI

Whatever will happen will be concealed by italian media unless the news will help to make our prime minister shine.

Oven Baked Courgette's Frittata

3 Courgettes
3 Eggs
1 Vegetable Stock Cube
Parmesan

This is the oven baked version of frittata (omelet): you can use virtually anything for the main ingredients (peppers, courgette, mushroom, cheese, leftover spaghetti) and it can be used as a main dish since it is one of the easiest and complete recipes.

Slice the zucchini and fry them with a little bit of oil, parsley and the cube.

Once the courgettes are cooked wait until they cool off, mix them with the eggs, parmesan

..and lay everything on a oven tin.

Cook for about 30 minutes at 180/200 degrees

Buon appetito!

Parmigiana aubergines and zucchini

Today's recipe is probably the most time-consuming but the results will be amazing! Again this is not as the real recipe but it is slightly adapted to my culinary/vegetarian taste.

For this you will need:

4 Zucchini/Courgette
4 Aubergine
4 Cans of tomato sauce
1 Pack of grated cheese
200/300 gr of grated Parmesan

First cut the aubergines and zucchini in slices

I prefer to peel the aubergines because the skin leave a slight bitter flavour but this depend on your own taste.

Now batter each slice on both side with flour.

In the real recipe you are supposed to batter the aubergines with egg and bread crumbs: again this is totally up to you.

Fry the vegetables until golden brown and place them into a tray with some kitchen towel to absorb the excess oil

Simmer our 4 cans of tomato sauce into a pot for 5/10 minutes, and start placing one layer of sauce, grated cheese and Parmesan

and one layer of vegetables

alternate the 2 ingredients until you end up with a layer of sauce.
Bake for about 30/45 minutes

Buon appetito!

We breath cancer

So I've given up smoking, actually I haven't given up anything but, as Allen Carr said, I simply QUIT. It's been now nearly 3 months since my last cigarette, and unfortunately I tend to quickly forget the benefits gained by this decision, instead I focus on the fact that I've gained around 5/7 KG, and that makes me doubt about my choice. Anyway I'm not planning to start again but now after 3 months I've developed a persistent cough with a tick brownish phlegm: I was warned that this is a normal symptom when you quit but I was expecting to develop it in the first month.

Thank god we are having the famous "Irish summer" in here, that means 2/3 weeks of decent weather, but that also means air conditioning pumping on your back like there's no tomorrow. And was with great disgust that I probably identified the culprit of my cough: I was looking up in the ceiling in my workplace and this is why I decided to title this post "we breath cancer"

Pizzaiola of Quorn Fillets

I love Quorn. I know that is OGM and it is not really and completely vegetarian (it contains eggs) but I love its texture and flavour and I think it is a valid alternative to chicken.
So here the recipe:

2 pack of Quorn Fillets
1 KG of cherry tomatoes
2 Vegetable stock cubes
2 Spoon of capers

With this dosage you will get 12 fillets: just use the half of it if you just want 6!!!

So here we have our fillets:

Fry them in a bit of oil until golden brown

Cut the cherry tomatoes in 4 parts:

Add them to the pan with a bit of oil 1 stock cube and the capers:

After 5/8 minutes they should look like this:

Add again your fillets and cook everything for another 5 minutes: you will notice that the tomato sauce will be slightly absorbed by the quorn fillets

Buon appetito!!

3 Big onions
5 Tesco Vegetarian sausages
2 Mozzarella
1 Pack of feta cheese
1 Pack of ricotta
500 gr of Cherry Tomatoes
15/20 Filo pastry sheet

Finely chop the onions and fry them in a pan with a bit of oil.
Add the sausages chopped in chunks, and cook everything until golden brown.
When ready take the pan away from the hob and add the ricotta, the mozzarella, the feta and the tomatoes chopped in cubes.

Put a bit of filling into 1 sheet, close the external borders of the pastry in the inside of the filling and roll it up.

Fry the spring rolls into a bit of oil until lightly brown
