Cynic Vicar ST - My review

Well guys I don't know if anybody is expecting a review from last night concert but I'm gonna spend few words for it.

A kiss to my son and my wife and I left the house at around 19:00. I was walking towards Thomas street and the emotion was starting to build up: "What they will play?" "Will I be able to be close enough to the stage?".
I reached my destination at 19:15 and despite my shaved hair and my age I didn't feel out of place: as a matter of fact if you are a metal fan you will always feel part of a big family.
A quick look around and I quite liked the place, and the environment was warm enough; a quick beer at a bar (Fuck me 5.50 for a bottle of Miller!) and I'm ready to enjoy the show: the Ocean start quite well but after 10 minutes of the same riffs I get bored and I just sit in the back. I stay alienated until they announce their last song (finally): that's when I prepare myself for a jump in the past, a moment I dreamed for 15 years. I walk close enough to the stage and I manage to get a second row; the guys behind me don't mind to have me in front since I'm quite short. Cynic are setting up their gears and I'm setting up my vocal chords ready for an epic performance. My heart skip a bit during the soundcheck hearing the introduction of "How could I", I'm nearly in tears when the show start with "Nunc Fluens" followed by "The Space For This".
I barely realize what is going on when they start playing "Evolutionary Sleeper" and I close my eyes while singing the refrain, but there's not time for my orgasmic happyness : Paul announce that they are about to play some songs from Focus, "Veil of Maya", "Uroboric forms", "Textures" are just spectacular, I try to concentrate on Sean drumming, I try to figure it out what his hands and feet are doing while I hear the melody but these musicians are definitely from another planet. A bit of sadness fill my heart when they announce their last song and is the one I prefer the most from Traced In Air : "Integral Birth".
I leave my place under the stage inebriated with their majesty and I head straight for the door: not that I care about Opeth but I wanted to keep my memories vivid while they were still fresh.
I walk home thinking about how lucky I was to attend a concert of one of the best group of musicians in the world.

DMCA takedown notification

So it happened.
I received the (in)famous notification.
To be honest I don't give a shit.
Everything posted in this blog is just for fun, I don't do it to earn any money or to fuck the bands income.
Apparently there are individuals, somewhere in this planet, thinking that if somebody download an album instead of purchasing it will destroy the world of music.

I want just to tell these individuals that every single album posted in this blog was part of my personal collection; this just to tell you that if before I was willing to buy a new record now you will not see a dime from me.

When i was 20 I could buy a vinyl for 15.000/16.000 italian lira (7/8 euros) and a CD for 20.000/22.000 (10/12 euros) : I didn't have much money but enough to afford 4/5 albums every month. I bought records of unknown bands, I spent my money on worthless shit but what the fuck I WAS SUPPORTING THE SCENE!!

Slowly the prices started to increase and within 2/3 years they were DOUBLED!! Now you fucking piece of shit who killed the music? Who made me pay 20 euros for a fucking piece of plastic (CD) or for a bloody spit of petrol (vinyl) ?

It was the fucking greed of the major labels, you brainless sharks: you don't deserve my money nor my attention.

Since the reported post was regarding the album Human from Death I wonder who could have done such thing and I came to a conclusion:

Can't be Chuck (R.I.P.) may God bless yor soul
Can't be Sean or Paul since the albums of THEIR band are posted as well
I don't believe that Steve Di Giorgio spend his day looking for links of his former bands

So here you are you fucking Roadrunner: you were one of my favourite labels I'm sorry that you got so low.

Anyway I hope to see your name posted since:

"The notice that we received, with any personally identifying information removed, will be posted online by a service called Chilling Effects at http://www.chillingeffects.org/"

At least show us some fucking balls.

One last thing:
